Welcome to Aylesbury & District Ramblers
Established in 1966, Aylesbury & District Ramblers are a friendly, informal group within the national Ramblers Association, a charitable organisation set up to promote walking. We organise about 120 walks a year, everything from 4 to 16 miles. Some are leisurely, some strenuous, but most are somewhere in between.
There are many great walks in and around Aylesbury, and over 15 national trails and recreational paths cross our area. There are three walks that circumnavigate the town of Aylesbury, including one, The Outer Aylesbury Ring, developed and implemented by Us! The others are the Round Aylesbury Walk and the Aylesbury Ring. To find out more click on "Walks", above.
Both HS2 and East-West Rail are affecting a lot of footpaths in our area. To check the latest position click here.

The Outer Aylesbury Ring (OAR)
Fancy a 53 mile long distance path or one of 23 circular walks in our beautiful local countryside? Then see Our OAR guides, which have all the information you'll need.
Aylesbury Ramblers opened the OAR in 2013. We continue to update our guides in light of the feedback we receive from users and disruptions from HS2. Please check the latest position by looking at footpath closures and our OAR Updates, for the very latest information.
