Round Aylesbury Walk

The Round Aylesbury Walk

The RAW

The RAW is the shortest of the three walks circumnavigating Aylesbury and is just 12 miles long. It can be done in easy 2-3 mile stretches using public transport, or if you are an experienced walker, tackled in one day!

It was opened in 2000 and follows the edge of Aylesbury Town Parish. The route is waymarked and easy to follow.

For a handy guide to the walk get the Route Description.

For those of you with digital mapping software, here is a GPX file of the route. Please be aware that the way marked route shown on OS 1;25000 map is not correct on the edge of Coldharbour and to a lesser extent around the lake at Watermead. (It is not shown at all on the OS 1:50000 map)

When you have tried this try the Aylesbury Ring (32 miles) and the Outer Aylesbury Ring (OAR) (53 miles).
